I got this to separate my living room from my dining room for an impromptu guest room or private room for zoom calls. I have an open floor plan so its nice to get more value out of my dining area since it is never used. I keep it open mostly but when my brother stayed, I was able to create a private space for him to sleep instead of on the couch. I already know these will come in handy in any space I may move to in the future. Also highly recommend the spring rod I found to stretch across 11 ft. The curtains are light enough in weight to not weigh it down and thick enough to feel enclosed. Realized after hanging them, that a light colored curtain would work great as a movie screen.These have been fantastic for a room divider for my boys. It allows them privacy in their shared room. It is thick enough to block light but I don’t think will be enough if one wants to obscure a window hit by direct sunlight.They are good and heavy duty curtainsNot an expert of curtains. Have to be ironed out of box. Careful as material is somewhat polyester feeling-almost feels like a cross between poly and cotton. They’re lightweight, but definitely not sheet thin. My best description would be 3 times thickness of a bed sheet. Great at sun blocking. I’m very pleased overall. Test of time will tell.
